Went and visited Derwent Dam and was lucky enough to catch two military planes and a chinook training low flying over the dam…
Lots of people commenting on how low the water levels were though and we got to explore the villages that are normally underwater, Roo got stung by a bumblebee, and I now have the dambusters march stuck in my head forever 🤷‍♀️

Faced a fear today and explored the Treak Cliff Caverns… I’m not a big fan of being underground and caves kinda scare me. It was quite cool though, learnt lots and the people were lovely! It’s dog friendly (Roo was perfectly happy) and we avoided there being a big group of kids… Definitely recommend heading over there if you’re in the area :)

Happy birthday to the only person mad enough to put up with me for so long and find a way to make my wacky ideas possible 🤦‍♀️ (also my live in mechanic, tech support and therapist)

Most people would be a bit wary but H didn’t bat an eyelid when I randomly texted that I needed to buy a van, instantly found a way for me to afford one. Now follows me around the UK on my last minute trips and fixes all issues like when I almost lost my door... 😂
